The 6th ANNUAL RIVERBEND 5K GREEN RUN/WALK will take place on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 7:30 am at Riverbend Park in Jupiter, Florida. Proceeds from the event benefit the Jupiter Environmental Research and Field Studies Academy at Jupiter High School. Race day events will include a 5K chip timed run and a one mile kids run. There will also be "Green" vendors displaying environmentally friendly services and products.
RACE DAY SCHEDULE
- 7:30 AM - 5K Run/Walk (all ages)
- 8:30 AM - 1K Kids Run (Kindergarten - 5th Grade*)
- 8:45 AM -Awards Ceremony
Prizes will be awarded in each race class and gender.
*Must be no more than age 10 as of 2/20/16
Cash/Checks ONLY please on the day of the race. The first 300 participants will be guaranteed a T-shirts so please register early!

RACE LOCATION: Riverbend Park, Jupiter
THE COURSE: The 5 kilometer (3.1 mile) course begins and ends at Riverbend Park, a hidden treasure in the heart of Jupiter. The crushed coral race pathway takes you through a beautiful nature preserve which is home to many native Florida animal, bird, and plant species.
DIRECTIONS: The entrance to Riverbend Park is located on the south side of Indiantown Road just 1 mile west of the turnpike entrance.

who wish to pursue an academic curriculum with an emphasis on environmental studies.
